Nepals Election Commission (EC) has decided to take immediate action against violators of the election code of conduct.
Kathmandu, Mar 26 : Nepal's Election Commission (EC) has decided to take immediate action against violators of the election code of conduct.
Election officers have been directed by the EC to check activities that are against the election code of conduct, and take quick action against violators, including political party members.
"Some election observers are found to have been campaigning in favour of political parties. They are required to maintain impartiality in their job or else the IDs of those violating the Observation Guidelines could be immediately scrapped," the Election Commission said.
