After administering oath of office and secrecy to Pakistani Pakistani Premier Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, President Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday vowed his fullest cooperation with the new coalition government.

Islamabad, Mar 25 : After administering oath of office and secrecy to Pakistani Pakistani Premier Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, President Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday vowed his fullest cooperation with the new coalition government.

"I will always extend my fullest cooperation to him. I congratulate him," Musharraf said in an interview with Pakistan Television, standing with Gilani at his side.

Musharraf also said that unity was necessary to fight terrorism.

"I believe all forces should be united... because the period which is coming is a difficult period in the context of terrorism, of militancy, of the economy," said Musharraf.

"All sides should work together in a balanced way," he added.
