Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the April 10 Constituent Assembly elections must be held in two phases.

Kathmandu, Mar 22 : Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the April 10 Constituent Assembly elections must be held in two phases.

Keeping in view the deteriorating security situation across the country, it would be difficult to hold polls peacefully in a single phase.

Nepal also said the Girija Prasad Government must take extra efforts for security of poll candidates.
