Lahore, Mar 11 : About 25 people have reportedly been killed in twin blasts in Lahore this morning. The death of 12 people has been confirmed so far.
While, the first blast occurred at Lahore model Town Block-F, which is very near to Bilawal House and the residence of Lahore City Nazim, Amir Mehmood, the other occurred at the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Office near Mayo Hospital at Temple Road.
According to preliminary investigations, it a suicide attack at the FIA Office occurred around 9:20 a.m.
Two suicide bombers entered the FIA building, where one blew himself up at the gate and the other managed to enter the building to target the people present in the building, The News reported.
Over 15 bodies and dozens injured have been shifted to the Lahore Mayo Hospital, sources said.
The Police and rescue teams have reached the spot where the explosions had occurred..
