BSF detains five Nepalis on Indo-Nepal border

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have reportedly arrested five Nepali citizens from Khairichandan in Nepals Bardiya District.Those arrested have been taken to a BSF camp in Mahilanala, the Kantipur newspaper reported.

Bardiya (Nepal), Mar.11 : Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have reportedly arrested five Nepali citizens from Khairichandan in Nepal's Bardiya District.Those arrested have been taken to a BSF camp in Mahilanala, the Kantipur newspaper reported.

The paper identified the arrested as Suraj Bika, Rajkumar Damai, Bikram Chanda, Dil Bahadur Sunar and Bharat Bika, and said they were taken into custody for cutting trees on the Indian side.

Efforts are on to have the five Nepalis released and handed over to authorities in Nepal.
