On Sunday, Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz's (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif joined hands with Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to form the next coalition Government, and declared that the dismissed judges would be restored through a parliamentary resolution within a month of the coalition Government's formation.
U.S. State Department spokesperson Sean McCormack declined to make a direct comment.
"Those are entirely their decisions to make. It is our view that these are issues that need to be handled solely by the Pakistanis. We don't have a vote in this, nor should we," The News quoted him as saying.
He said the US believe that stability and democracy are inevitable for Pakistan if the war against terrorism is to be won.
