Building evacuated in Islamabad following bomb scare

The National Institute of Health building in Islamabad has been reportedly evacuated following a bomb scare.

Islamabad, Mar 11 : The National Institute of Health building in Islamabad has been reportedly evacuated following a bomb scare.

The bomb disposal squad has been called in to comb through the building.

The development assumes significance in the backdrop of twin blasts in Lahore this morning, which claimed at least 15 lives.

While the first blast took place at Lahore model Town Block-F, which is very near to Bilawal House and residence of Amir Mehmood, the other occurred at the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Office at the Temple road.The rescue team and police have reached on the spot.
