2,200 pupils write CBSE exams in Dubai

As many as 2,200 students are appearing in Dubai for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations that began today.

Dubai, Mar 1 : As many as 2,200 students are appearing in Dubai for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations that began today.

There are over 110 schools affiliated to the CBSE in the Gulf countries of which 52 are in the UAE.

Mary George, convenor and the principal of Indian school Ras al Khaimah, said that each centre will have a superintendent and an assistant superintendent for holding the examinations.

"The number of assistant superintendents is based according to the strength of pupils giving exams from each centre," the Gulf News quoted Khaimah as saying.
