Football star Cristiano Ronaldos wedding rumours have been fuelled further, after his girlfriend Nereida Gallardo was spotted flashing a diamond ring on her engagement finger.

London, Jun 5 : Football star Cristiano Ronaldo's wedding rumours have been fuelled further, after his girlfriend Nereida Gallardo was spotted flashing a diamond ring on her engagement finger.

Sources say that the Man-U ace had told Nereida that they would tie the knot later this year if Portugal wins Euro 2008.

According to onlookers, they spotted what looked like an engagement ring on 24-year-old Gallardo's engagement finger as she was chatting on the phone in the street.

Further adding fuel to the story, was Gallardo's boast to Internet chat pals that she has hopes of marrying the 23-year-old soccer star. But, from Ronaldo's side, the claim has not been confirmed. Gallardo's friends, from her hometown of Palma, revealed that she is already planning to move into Ronaldo's mansion at Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

"She practically lives in England now," the Sun quoted one of her friends as saying.

"She keeps all her clothes there and talks of herself as the new Victoria Beckham with a dash of Spanish sophistication thrown in.

"Cristiano is very keen to become a father. He keeps talking about kids. Nereida's up for it too - what woman doesn't want children?" the friend added.
