UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband has topped a vote of the British politicians single gay men in the country would most like to take on a date.

London, June 12 : UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband has topped a vote of the British politicians single gay men in the country would most like to take on a date.

Miliband took top spot in the poll with 39 percent of the votes in the new online Lust for Power? poll by gay-PARSHIP.co.uk - Europe's largest serious dating site for gay men and women.

Said gay-PARSHIP spokesman, Adrian Gillan: "British politicians are forever wooing the 'pink vote' so it's interesting to see what gay singles, in particular, make of their advances."

"Miliband's popularity delivers yet another blow for an already-weak PM, Gordon Brown; and may also humble the leaders of his main rival parties, Messrs Cameron and Clegg."

Coming in second place was Conservative leader David Cameron who got 20 percent of the votes.

The UK's International Development Secretary Douglas Alexander was third with 17 percent of the votes, with Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg in fourth place with 13percent of the votes.

The top five was rounded off by Alan Duncan, the Shadow Secretary for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, with 11 percent of the votes.
