Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Qazi Hussain Ahmad has reportedly warned the US against attacking Pakistan, and added that if Washington committed this foolish mistake, every Pakistani would give a befitting reply.
Lahore, July 25 : Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Qazi Hussain Ahmad has reportedly warned the US against attacking Pakistan, and added that if Washington committed this "foolish mistake", every Pakistani would give a befitting reply.
He said that the JI would mobilise Pakistanis against the American designs, and would welcome all the forces joining that cause. "Leaderships of Iran and China would also be consulted in this regard," the Daily Times quoted him as saying.
Talking to reporters here last evening, Qazi said that the Pakistan Government was "playing into the hands of conspirators", thereby threatening the national security.
"The entire nation is being deliberately pushed into frustration," he said, adding that prices of petrol, electricity, gas and edibles had been increased deliberately. Qazi claimed that the US-led NATO forces were positioned against Pakistan on the Afghan border, and were building underground bunkers.
He also warned that Pakistan was being used to fight "a war against Islam and Muslims".
