London, July 24 : A moonwalk astronaut has claimed that aliens do exist - and they're just like E.T.
Dr Edgar Mitchell, a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission, has made the startling claims in a radio interview, describing the beings as 'little people with a large head and big eyes.'
"You've seen some of the pictures of these little people who look strange to us. As far as I know from my contacts who have had contact, that looks pretty accurate," The Sun quoted him, as saying.
"They are not hostile. If they were hostile, we would be gone by now."
He added: "The UFO phenomena is real. It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it."
Dr Mitchell said that he knew of the UFO visits from his career at NASA.
