Nepali Congress (NC) candidate, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, will be sworn-in as the first President of the Republic of Nepal today.

Kathmandu, July 23 : Nepali Congress (NC) candidate, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, will be sworn-in as the first President of the Republic of Nepal today.

The swearing ceremony will be held at Shital Niwas, the official residence of the President, at 3:00 p.m.

The Chief Justice of Nepal will administer the oath of office and secrecy to him.

President Yadav will then administer oath of office to Vice President Paramananda Jha.

An official function will be held during the swearing-in by inviting high-level officials and diplomats, nepalnews reported.
