Two attacks on Benazir have commonalties: Pak expert

"The legs of purported suicide bombers in both the cases are missing," The News quoted the expert, as saying.

He also claimed that neither of the attacks on Benazir was suicidal, and the same was proven during the investigation into the Karachi blast.

The expert further said that the while declaring attacks on Benazir as suicidal, the Pakistan Government has ignored the fact that in suicide attacks, legs of the bomber were never destroyed.

"In a suicide attack, the head of suicide bomber is by and large destroyed or rolled down while his or her legs remain on the spot as they wrap explosive materials with belt around their body from belly button up to the upper chest," he pointed out.

"The suicide bombers bow their heads before the blast, but their legs remain at the scene of occurrence despite injuries to them," he said.
