January 7 is the busiest day of the year for job hunting!

With the New Year arriving, people will not only change old calendars on the walls but would also be changing jobs, for a survey has claimed that January 7 is the day when most people will go job hunting as compared to any other day of the year.

London, Jan 7 : With the New Year arriving, people will not only change old calendars on the walls but would also be changing jobs, for a survey has claimed that January 7 is the day when most people will go job hunting as compared to any other day of the year.

As the holiday season will be ending for many people, they will be returning to office anticipating more money, less stress or better job satisfaction.

In this scenario, the only thing that would seem to be most lucrative for them is a new job.

The results of net recruiters Jobsite poll of 1,500 adults indicated that four out of ten would begin looking this month, in fact a majority will start searching today itself.

The poll also revealed that some people will go on to contribute more than two hours of office time searching online.

"The New Year is seen as a good time to start afresh," The Sun quoted firm's boss Keith Potts, as saying.
