London, Jan 6 : A bedroom business has earned a schoolboy entrepreneur 75,000 pounds in the past year.
Unlike other teens who earn their pocket money by delivering papers, 16-year-old Jonathan Grubin, from Gosforth, Newcastle, satisfies his needs by running three companies from his bedroom.
Jonathan started his first business when he was just 12-years-old, by offering free screensaver downloads for mobile phones.
He also manages a listing and reviews website for his home town and a third site that gives away free digital equipment such as cameras and iPods to online surfers who sign up to offers from advertisers.
"I never thought it would be as successful as it has been," the Telegraph quoted Jonathan as saying.
"It's remarkable to think that I'm only 16 but already looking back at two years of running a business," he added.
