Pak Army captures 40 militants in South Waziristan

Pakistan Army has captured 40 militants in countrys tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

Islamabad, Jan 19 : Pakistan Army has captured 40 militants in country's tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Athar Abbas, said that 40 militants have been taken into custody since last night in the military operation at Chaghmalai.

The ISPR said 10 bodies of militants have also been recovered from Chagmalai stating the area has been cleared of militants.

"In Tank, Taliban militants' miscreants including key commanders have been captured. Arms and ammunition have also been recovered from them," Abbas said.

He informed that intense firing in Ladha area continued till late last night.
