The average man will guzzle 14,000 pints of lcohol in his lifetime, says a new research.

London, Jan 15 : The average man will guzzle 14,000 pints of lcohol in his lifetime, says a new research.

More specifically, an individual consumes 11,600 pints of beer or ager, 1089 pints of cider, 5082 glasses of wine and 110 litres f spirits.

The findings were based on a poll, conducted by online market esearch company onepoll.com, which asked 5000 men about their rinking habits.

The survey found that on average men drink 402 alcoholic drinks very year.

Survey revealed that men down six pints while watching sport, nother four after work in the pub and two glasses of wine with heir girlfriend or wife. Booze-filled Friday and Saturday nights eant six pints were swilled on average.

The study also revealed that the average bloke would work his way hrough 1.5 litres of cocktails, 12 glasses of champagne and early half a litre of liqueurs each year.

"These results are pretty startling to read. We see on the news ow Britain is pictured as an alcohol-loving society but this hows just how much we down on a regular basis," the Daily Record uoted Onepoll spokesman John Sewell, as saying.

"Whether it be socialising with friends, special occasions or fter work drinks, the amount soon adds up.

"Some men may be giving the beer a rest during the first few eeks of January to recover from Christmas but they'll soon be ack on it," he added.
