In his meeting with Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) premier Sardar Atteq Ahmed Khan, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Thursday said that solution to the Kashmir issue should be acceptable to all three parties - the Kashmiris, India and Pakistan.

Rawalpindi, Feb 7 : In his meeting with Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) premier Sardar Atteq Ahmed Khan, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Thursday said that solution to the Kashmir issue should be acceptable to all three parties - the Kashmiris, India and Pakistan.

Musharraf said his government wants the Kasmir issue to be resolved as per desires of the people of Kashmir.

Reiterating his pledge to continue "moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiris," Musahrraf said that the Pakistan Government took various steps, including launch of Kasmir bus service to reduce the difficulties of the Kashmiris residing on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC), The News reported.

Emphasising on the need to create an enabling environment for success of peace process between New Delhi and Islamabad, the former Pakistan Army General on Monday said that the Kashmir issue could be resolved through 'sincerity, courage and flexibility'.

"We firmly believe that an enabling environment is necessary for the success of the peace process," Musharraf had said.
