I didnt vow to fulfil Benazirs mission: Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief and former premier Nawaz Sharif has denied saying he would complete Benazir Bhuttos mission.

Islamabad, Feb.6 : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief and former premier Nawaz Sharif has denied saying he would complete Benazir Bhutto's mission.

Talking to a private TV channel here on Tuesday, Sharif, however, expressed solidarity with the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

Nawaz said he "had made the mistake of his life" by promoting Musharraf to the army chief in 1998.

According to Online News, he said it was President Pervez Musharraf and not "the insignificant election commissioner" who had rejected his nomination papers for the February elections.
