8 killed in Rawalpindi blast

Eight people have been killed in a blast near the Pakistan Armys General Headquarters here today.

Rawalpindi, Feb 4 : Eight people have been killed in a blast near the Pakistan Army's General Headquarters here today.

According to reports, the explosion occurred outside the gate of National Logistic Cell building.

Several security officials sustained injuries in the blast, as reported by The News.

Several cars and motorcycles were also damaged.

According to sources, a suicide bomber riding a motorbike had rammed into a vehicle of security forces.

The area has been cordoned off after the blast.
