At least seven people were wounded after a suicide bomber blew up a house in Colombo.

Colombo, Feb. 29 : At least seven people were wounded after a suicide bomber blew up a house in Colombo.

According to police, "the suicide bomber came out of the house in Kotahena District and set off the blast".

The injured have been admitted to hospital.

"The bomber might have been planning to carry out an attack elsewhere," police said
