Washington, Feb 2 : Praising the steps taken by the Pakistan Government to safeguard its nuclear assets, a top US military leader has reaffirmed confidence in its security.
"I am very comfortable that nuclear weapons in Pakistan are secure and Pakistani leadership has taken steps to ensure that security," Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff told a Pentagon news conference.
He said that he would soon visit Pakistan to meet with that country's leaders, the Dawn reported.
