Karachi, Feb.16 : Preparations have been finalized for the ninth general elections of Pakistan as the electioneering will end tonight at 12:00 and the people will use their right to vote on Monday.
According to The News, election fever is at a fever pitch in Pakistan ahead of the February 18 poll, with various political parties promoting their messages through flags and banners in nearly every nook and corner of the country.
The Pakistan Foreign Office has created a cell to guide foreign election observers between February 16 and 19.
Ballot papers and non-erasable ink have been transported to all provinces ahead of the polls.
Citizens have appreciated the spirit of co-existence in the run-up to the polls.
The army has been kept on stand-by to prevent untoward incidents, the paper reported.
