Hairy men are the biggest turn on for Brit women!

Being hairy is a blessing, at least in case of Brit men, for a new poll has found that bushy blokes are the biggest turn on for their country women as they age.

London, Feb 14 : Being hairy is a blessing, at least in case of Brit men, for a new poll has found that bushy blokes are the biggest turn on for their country women as they age.

The poll, conducted by online matchmakers Parship.co.uk, revealed that 6 in 10 women aged over 45 found a man with body hair attractive against just 24 per cent of under 25 years of age.

The study also showed that a hairy man's appeal increases as you move further north, i.e. the hairiest hot spot is Scotland with 47 per cent followed by the North on 38 per cent.

In the South it is 35 per cent, Midlands and Wales 33 percent and London 25 per cent.

One in three polled responded that she would go for a man in the classic virile mould of Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, or Tom Jones.

Only a quarter preferred the smoother option offered by heartthrobs such as Daniel Craig, Colin Farrell and Johnny Wilkinson-a look described by some as "waxed within an inch of their life."

"The interesting finding is that women in the UK, compared to other countries in Europe, are the most embracing of men with either body hair, including hair on the back, and of male-pattern baldness," The Sun quoted psychiatrist and Parship dating expert Dr Victoria Lukats, as saying.

"It's also notable that women accept male body hair more as they yet older.

"This is just as well since it's well known that testosterone, in combination with genetic factors, leads to both male-pattern baldness and increasing body hair with increasing age.

"It looks like follicly-challenged men don't have to be self-conscious after all. The vast majority of women simply don't see it as an issue," Lukats added.
