The Israeli Embassy said in a statement that this was a "historic opportunity" for the people of Nepal to "consolidate the peace process and to create a democratic, inclusive future for their country.
The Israeli team headed by Micha Odenheimer consists of 23 people from an Israeli NGO and two Embassy officials.
The team includes 18 Israelis, three citizens each from England, and the US, one from Canada.
