At least nine people were injured, two of them critically, on Monday when a bomb exploded at an election rally of the Nepali Congress in Birgunj.
Birgunj (Nepal), Apr 7 : At least nine people were injured, two of them critically, on Monday when a bomb exploded at an election rally of the Nepali Congress in Birgunj.
A socket bomb explosion occurred at Ghantaghar area in Birgunj this afternoon.
Injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
Security has been tightened in the town following the blast, nepalnews.com reported.
