Kathmandu, Apr 27 : The Communist Party of Nepal-Maoists (CPN-M) spokesperson and Communication Minister, Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Sunday said that the next government will be formed on the basis of political consensus.

"The government will be formed on the basis of consensus among the political parties," Mahara said at a programme.

"The foundations of old consensus stands broken after the constituent assembly election, so new political consensus should be based on the mandate of the people expressed through the election," he added.

Mahara went on to say that political understanding would build up gradually once the election process is completed, nepalnews.com reported.

He also assured that Right to Information Act and the Working Journalist Act would be implemented as soon as there is a new government and informed that the government was waiting for final results of the election for constituting the much-awaited Information Commission.
