External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee is likely to visit Nepal after the new dispensation assumes charge.

Kathmandu, Apr 22 : External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee is likely to visit Nepal after the new dispensation assumes charge.

According to reports, India is taking the diplomatic initiative to invite Maoist chairman Prachanda to India for a visit following his party's win in the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Meanwhile, India's Ambassador to Nepal, Shiv Shanker Mukherjee, will return here tomorrow after completing his four-year-tenure in Kathmandu. He will be replaced by Rakesh Sood.
