Indian envoy to Nepal meets Prachanda

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shankhar Mukherjee on Sunday held discussion with Nepal Communist Party Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M) Chairman Prachanda about political developments taking place in the country.

Kathmandu, Apr 20 : Indian Ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shankhar Mukherjee on Sunday held discussion with Nepal Communist Party Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M) Chairman Prachanda about political developments taking place in the country.

According to kantipuronline.com, the duo are learnt to have discussed on coordination among the parties and India's support to the new government led by that will be lead by the Maoists.

Mukherjee and Prachanda have also held discussion on the issue of King Gyanendra's graceful exit for the implementation of republic declaration through the first sitting of the Constituent Assembly (CA), sources said.
