A senior PML-N leader has said that his party was not ready to build a working relationship with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, as the partys ministers refuse to meet or travel with him.
Lahore, Apr 12 : A senior PML-N leader has said that his party was not ready to build a working relationship with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, as the party's ministers refuse to meet or travel with him.
Senior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, of the PML-N, said that his party does not want to conduct any business with an "unconstitutional President".
"We do not consider Musharraf as a constitutional and legal president of this country," he added. Nisar said Musharraf was sitting in the Presidency by "force of the gun," the Daily Times quoted him as saying.
Explaining why ministers of the PML-N had agreed to take oath from the "unconstitutional" President, Nisar said that the decision to take oath under Musharraf was taken in the larger interest of political harmony.
