Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M) candidate Dev Gurung won the sole constituency in Manang district.
Kathmandu, Apr 12 : Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M) candidate Dev Gurung won the sole constituency in Manang district.
The country's Local Development Minister Dev Gurung secured 1652 votes while his rival candidate from the Nepali Congress Palten Gurung got 1209 votes.
According to nepalnews.com, Palten Gurung had won in last general election in 2056 B.S. from the district.
Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) candidate Mangal Gurung had withdrawn his candidacy supporting Dev Gurung.
