Islamabad, Sep 27 : The battle for the custody of their daughter has turned complicated for MQM chief Altaf Hussain and his estranged wife Faiza Gabool.
A London family court is taking up the case.
This is the first major step towards a formal divorce between the two.
Faiza Gabool will appear before the judge along with her solicitor Shahid Dasghir Khan to plead why she would not allow her daughter to meet or live with her father.
Altaf Hussain believes that he has the legal right to meet his daughter.
A determined Faiza feels that Hussain is not in a position to bring up her daughter properly.
She is also said to have also levelled several serious charges against him, saying her daughter might not get a proper environment if she lives with her father, The News reported.
