Prince Harrys vodka snorting shocker

British royal Prince Harry has been slammed for snorting vodka in a potentially lethal drinking game while on holiday in Namibia with girlfriend Chelsy Davy last year.

London, Sept 22 : British royal Prince Harry has been slammed for snorting vodka in a potentially lethal drinking game while on holiday in Namibia with girlfriend Chelsy Davy last year.

The 23-year old was captured on tape as he inhaled a bottle cap full of the neat spirit through his nose. He is seen first taking a swig of the booze then spitting it into the bottle top before covering his right nostril and snorting the alcohol.

Harry's antics however, have caused concern among medics and anti-alcohol campaigners, who state that the practice was dangerous.

Professor Ian Gilmore, president of the Royal College of Physicians, revealed that snorting alcohol meant it was absorbed directly through the lungs bypassing the liver - something that could have left the royal in serious trouble.

"This could kill," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

Alcohol Concern's Frank Soodeen added: "There is nothing cool or glamorous about snorting alcohol.

"The medical view is clear. Taking alcohol up the nose increases the risk of direct alcohol damage to the brain."
