Former Nepal Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa has blamed the eight parties of being more arrogant than Yamaraj, the Hindu god of death.
Kathmandu, Sep 13 : Former Nepal Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa has blamed the eight parties of being more arrogant than Yamaraj, the Hindu god of death.
"They are so arrogant that they think that whatever decisions they take is full and final. I don't think even Yamaraj is so arrogant," Thapa, President of Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP), said.
The eight parties must respect the supremacy of the people, the Nepal News quoted him, as saying.
Commenting on the other forces other than the eight parties, Thapa said, "They may think that these other forces are in a deep slumber. They are not. They are in deep contemplation."
RJP leader Prakash Chandra Lohani also accused the eight parties of playing vendetta politics.
Lohani also mocked the announcement of agitation by a party who is a member of the government.
