Lahore, Sept 11 :India and Pakistan have agreed to return those people, who had inadvertently crossed the international border, within a day or two.
This decision was part of many decisions taken at the bi-annual meeting of the Pakistan Rangers and Border Security Force of India that concluded here on Tuesday.
Both sides also agreed to conduct a joint patrol on the border, the Daily Times reported.
During the four-day talks, India was led by Additional Director- General BSF, G S Gill, and Pakistan was led by Major General Haroon Aslam, Director General of Pakistan Rangers Punjab.
The objective of the bi-annual meeting is to promote better coordination and understanding between the border guards of the two countries.
