A drunk woman drove a distance of two miles without realising that her car had lost a wheel.

London, Oct 7 : A drunk woman drove a distance of two miles without realising that her car had lost a wheel.

Helen Williams had downed a bottle of wine and did not realise that she was driving on three wheels until her car halted in the middle of the road.

When the cops found the 43-year-old, the axle of her Fiesta was buried in the Tarmac, without the rear offside wheel.

After examination, it was found that Williams was more than double the legal limit.

However, she confessed that she was drunk while driving and was banned for three years and fined 400 pounds by magistrates in Swindon."I don't know how the wheel came off. I didn't notice it while I was driving. It must have been a flat tyre," the Mirror quoted her, as saying.
