Karachi, Oct 6 : Pakistan's Maritime Security Agency (MSA) has arrested 16 Indian fishermen and impounded four fishing vessels for allegedly fishing in Pakistani waters, an MSA press release said.
It said the MSA ship was on a routine patrol in the Eastern Maritime Region when Indian boats were found fishing allegedly illegally, about 30 nautical miles inside the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Pakistan.
The arrested fishermen would be handed over to the Docks Police for further legal action, it added.
