Former U.S.President Bill Clinton has said that Gordon Brown could become one of Britains greatest Prime Ministers.
London, Oct.6 : Former U.S.President Bill Clinton has said that Gordon Brown could become one of Britain's greatest Prime Ministers.
"Mr. Brown's economic stewardship as Chancellor was exemplary. He is intelligent, disciplined, a profoundly concerned person. He is capable of being a great Prime Minister and I think he is off to a good start," the BBC quoted Clinton, as saying
On Tory leader David Cameron, Clinton , however, said he had never met him, but he seemed "an interesting fellow" who was "well-spoken".
Talking on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Clinton also attacked George W Bush for destroying America's reputation in the world by attacking Iraq.
He added that if his wife Hillary became president, he would like a job restoring the US image.
