Coming in close behind at second place in the poll conducted by health drink Lactofree were tailgating drivers.
They were followed by queue jumpers in third place reports The Sun.
Rounding off the top five were slow Internet connections in the fourth place and drivers doing 50mph in the outside lane in the fifth spot.
The things that made up the top ten of the list of Britain's 100 pet hates was:
