Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Hussain Kolachi has remanded 39 Indian fishermen caught by Pakistans Maritime Security Agency (MSA) on Sunday to jail custody for 14 days.

Karachi, Nov 28 : Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Hussain Kolachi has remanded 39 Indian fishermen caught by Pakistan's Maritime Security Agency (MSA) on Sunday to jail custody for 14 days.

They were detained along with their boats for fishing illegally in Pakistan's exclusive economic zone (EEC), the MSA claimed.

The agency alleged that the boats were found fishing about 25 nautical miles inside the zone.

The detainees were handed over the Docks police on Monday who produced them before the judicial magistrate on Tuesday, the Dawn reported.
