The Fiat 500 has been voted Europes top motorcar.
London, Nov.20 : The Fiat 500 has been voted Europe's top motorcar.
The retro-style super mini beat hundreds of other new models to win the European Car Of The Year title.
According to The Sun, the 500 got 385 votes, ahead of another new super mini, the Mazda 2, with 325, while the Ford Mondeo was third with 202.
The seven short-listed cars voted on by 58 experts also included the Kia Cee'd, Nissan Qashqai, Mercedes C Class and Peugeot 308.
The Fiat 500 is already proving a smash sales hit in Europe, with over 105,000 orders taken in four months in Italy and France alone.
It does not go on sale in the UK until early next year - but customers are already putting down deposits to get to the top of what is sure to be a long waiting list.
