President Pervez Musharraf swore in caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro and his cabinet at the Aiwan-e-Sadr today.

Islamabad, Nov 16 : President Pervez Musharraf swore in caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro and his cabinet at the Aiwan-e-Sadr today.

The members of caretaker Cabinet are Nisar Memon, Barrister Habibur Rehman, Sikandar Jogazai, Dr. Salman Shah, Ansar Burni, Dr. Shams Lakha, Wajid H Bukhari, Prince Essa Jan, Salim Abbas Jilani, Khawaja Ataullah.

Other members of the Cabinet are Barrister Muhammad Ali, Lala Nisar Muhammad Khan, Salman Taseer, Barrister Shahida Jameel, Shahzada Alam Munno, Syed Afzal Hyder, Raja Tridev Rai, Nisar Ghumman, Inamul Haq, Abdullah Ryar, Abbas Sarfaraz, Ehsanullah Khan and Dr.Fahim Ansari.

Former Chief Ministers, high military and civil officials attended the oath taking ceremony.

Caretaker Prime Minister Soomro would hold the post of Senate Chairman also, but will be on leave.

Deputy chairman Senate Jan Jamali would be the acting chairman Senate in his absence, The News reported.
