Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to call an all-party conference in June to discuss the prevailing political scenario in the country.

Islamabad, May 17 : Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to call an all-party conference in June to discuss the prevailing political scenario in the country.

Sources in the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) said the meeting would take some "significant decisions" in this connection.

Sharif has assigned PML-N leaders Iqbal Jhagra, Ahsan Iqbal, Mushahidullah Khan and others to speed up their efforts regarding the meeting, its date and the venue, The News quoted party sources, as saying.

Sources added that Sharif would take a decision on his return to Pakistan after the meeting takes place.

According to PML-N Central Spokesman Ahsan Iqbal, the conference would have a five-point agenda, including the restoration of pre-October 12 constitution, establishment of independent election commission and freedom of judiciary.
