Dhaka, May 1 : Three bombs exploded simultaneously at separate railway terminals in Dhaka on Tuesday, but there were no casualties.
According to Abu Zafar Alam, the man in charge of the Dhaka Railway Police Station, investigations are on to determine who planted the unidentified bags at the three spots within the railway complex.
"We cannot say anything before the investigation is complete," Alam said, adding that all commuters had been evacuated.
He said that so far thin metalled sheets scribbled with Al Qaeda attributable slogans were found at the damaged sites in Dhaka's Kamalapur and Sylhet Railway terminals. The third blast was in the south-eastern Chittagong railway terminal.
"... If Hazrat (Prophet) Mohammad is not declared the superman of the world by May 10, all non-governmental organisations will be blown up," the slogans read.
