Ex-Pak judge says Musharraf cant hold two offices

President General Pervez Musharraf cannot hold two offices anymore, because his authority to keep both offices did not apply to his next term as President, said former Supreme Court Judge Justice (retired) Wajihuddin Ahmad.

Lahore, July 30 : President General Pervez Musharraf cannot hold two offices anymore, because his authority to keep both offices did not apply to his next term as President, said former Supreme Court Judge Justice (retired) Wajihuddin Ahmad.

He said Musharraf would have to wait for two years to become President again if he gave up his uniform.

Justice Ahmad said that Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif would benefit if the government removed the Constitutional amendment barring anyone from becoming Prime Minister for a third time.

Justice (retired) Nasir Aslam Zahid also said that Musharraf could not become President with or without uniform.
