Islamabad, July 2 : Coming down heavily on the West for terming Muslims as extremists, Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Secretary-General Mushahid Hussain Sayed has said that western nations are more extreme than Islamic countries.
Sayed added that dubbing Muslims as extremists is an injustice.
The News quoted him as saying that there was a rivalry between the West and the Muslims because the former has adopted various tactics to protect its global objectives at the cost of the latter.
He emphasised the need for Muslim rulers to change their priorities to fight the battle of ideas in order to face the challenges before the Islamic world.
Sayed said this in his address at the oath-taking ceremony of the Gandhara Union of Journalists (GUJ).
Leaders of various political parties, union Nazims, members of welfare organisations, and Media persons attended the ceremony among others.
