Washington to host seventh International Kashmir Peace Conference from July 26

The seventh International Kashmir Peace Conference, sponsored by the Kashmiri-American Council, will start here from July 26. It will feature talks by academic and political figures from across the world.

Washington, July 19 : The seventh 'International Kashmir Peace Conference,' sponsored by the Kashmiri-American Council, will start here from July 26. It will feature talks by academic and political figures from across the world.

The first session of the conference will be dedicated to the India-Pakistan peace process, where speakers are expected to discuss different perspectives of the ongoing dialogue.

The second session will study the confidence-building measures undertaken by both India and Pakistan, and its impact on Kashmir, the Daily Times reported.

The third session will discuss the methods that might help resolve the Kashmir issue, and the final session will look at Kashmir from the perspective of human rights.

Pakistan administered Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan and All-Party Hurryat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will address the concluding session.
