Pakistans Religious Affairs Minister Ejaz-ul-Haq today held radical cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz responsible for the existing law and order situation in the country.
Islamabad, July 18 : Pakistan's Religious Affairs Minister Ejaz-ul-Haq today held radical cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz responsible for the existing law and order situation in the country.
Ejaz said that Aziz had warned of carrying out suicide attacks in case of operation against the Lal Masjid administration, adding that the Lal Masjid had contacts with terrorists in tribal areas.
The News quoted him as saying after a function of the Council of Islamic Ideology, that no change has been made in official policy regarding the religious schools and the government would not take dictation from anyone on the issue.
