Plans are afoot to rope in former British Prime Minister Tony Blair for a cameo on the hit sci-fi programme Doctor Who.
London, July 18 : Plans are afoot to rope in former British Prime Minister Tony Blair for a cameo on the hit sci-fi programme 'Doctor Who'.
According to the Daily Express, the brains behind the programme are reportedly desperate to get Blair on the show, especially after having just shot scenes with pint-sized pop singer Kylie Minogue.
"Everyone knows Blair did The Simpsons and has appeared with Catherine Tate who is the new companion for the Doctor. So we're sure he'd be more than open to the offer of a cameo on the show," a BBC insider said.
The insider added: "It's not as if he doesn't have the time to do it now."
